Your photographer is the person you will spend the most time with on your wedding day (except for maybe your partner!).
I believe that making a good connection is an essential part of finding the right photographer. The more comfortable you are with your photographer, the better your experience and your photos will be. So let me begin...
I am married to my best friend, Herman, and am passionate about music, travel and the unexplained mysteries of the world. I love to binge watch Disney cartoons, read fantasy novels, go on hikes, kayak, paint and macrame! I have a weakness for puppies, wine and potato chips.
I have been a wedding photographer for over 13 years! Although I’m based in Penticton, I photograph weddings throughout the Okanagan and beyond. Because I want to give each client 110%, I only accept a limited number of weddings per year, and never photograph more than one wedding in a day.
I Do Things A Bit Differently
I try to be honest and transparent about all of my pricing and packages so the price you see is the price you pay. All taxes are included and there are no travel or accommodation fees for weddings within the Okanagan. (Vernon - Osoyoos)
Or High Pressure Sales
There are no hidden fees for extra photos. Each package includes a minimum amount of photos delivered to you. However, you will receive all photos I take. (with the exception of test shots or unflattering images) This means there is no proofing gallery where you need to choose which images you want to keep and no pressure to buy extra photos. I don't believe in withholding wedding memories from clients for more money. You get what I take, consider it a wedding gift!
For Full Day Weddings
Another of my unique ways of doing things is to not have a time limit for my Full Day Wedding packages. I do not charge per hour for these packages, meaning that I am there for as long as it takes to capture the memories you make. Sometimes weddings run behind schedule for reasons beyond your control, and I will do my best to bring things back on track. However, I'd rather take my time and not rush through the process. So if things take a bit longer, no worries.... I got you!
Authentic Images Only
When describing my style I often say I am authentic, timeless, and as “true to the day” as possible. This means I try to get images right in camera as I am taking them, and edit photos as little as possible afterwards. In my opinion, there are too many filters and overlays out there that transform us into some unrealistic and unattainable version of ourselves.
My philosophy for capturing wedding photos is this: Life is beautiful as is, I want my photos to reflect that.
